Prime Minister Modi will arrive at Pune Airport at 100.30 hrs. At 11 am, Dagdusheth will go to Ganapati temple and take darshan. Pune Vidyapeeth Chowk, Simla Office Chowk, Sancheti Chowk, Gadgil Putla Chowk, Budhwar Chowk, Alka Chowk, Tilak Road, Jedhe Chowk, Sangamwadi Road, Airport Road will remain closed till 3 PM. Pune Police has appealed to avoid traveling on this road.

During the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, traffic will be completely stopped for nine hours on some roads from 6 am to 3 pm, creating confusion among the citizens through some social media. However, the Pune Police has appealed to the citizens not to pay attention to the messages circulating on social media. In the background of some recent incidents in Pune, precautions will be taken for security reasons. But Pune Police is taking care that its stress will not be on the traffic system. The route through which the fleet of VVIP vehicles will pass will be regulated in a phased manner for short periods as required for safety reasons. This has been clarified by the Pune Police.
